2020 NFL Mock Draft - Post Free Agency

Here is my Post Free Agency 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

This is not a mock draft where I substitute my judgment for that of the teams. I try to research the opinions of those who most closely follow NFL teams like scouts, insiders, and beat writers from all of the NFL cities. I then try to make the most educated prediction as to which way each team will go in the draft based upon that information.

I start out by targeting each team's most obvious need, and then try to hone in on the most logical pick based upon value and need as roster cuts and free agency transpires.

1st Round

1. Cincinnati Bengals - Joe Burrow, QB, LSU:

With an elite blend of accuracy, touch, and arm strength, the Bengals are looking at a no-brain pick when it comes to LSU quarterback Joe Burrow.

2. Washington Redskins - Chase Young, DE, Ohio State:

The Redskins have needs all over the place and could be interested in trading down for more picks. If they stay put at #2, Chase Young of Ohio State would be an easy pick as the most talented player in the draft for a team not actively seeking a quarterback.

3. Miami Dolphins (Projected trade with Detroit) - Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama: 

A trade between the draft pick rich Dolphins and a team like Detroit with an established quarterback in a win now mode makes too much sense. Tua Tagovailoa of Alabama seems like a sure thing if he's healthy, and giving him a year to study under Ryan Fitzpatrick and get healthy would be an ideal situation.

4. New York Giants - Tristan Wirfs, T, Iowa:

The Giants have needs across the board, but with young skill players like Daniel Jones at quarterback and Saquan Barkley at running back to build around, a long term answer at left tackle like Tristan Wirfs of Iowa should be their first priority.

5. Detroit Lions (Projected trade with Miami) – Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio State: 

The Lions' biggest need right now is along the interior of their defensive line. While an improved pass rush would undoubtedly make their existing secondary look better, after parting ways with star cornerback Darius Slay this offseason, Jeffrey Okudah of Ohio State would fill an equally big hole in their secondary with the highest rated player still available.

6. Los Angeles Chargers - Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon: 

After cutting ties with Phillip Rivers, the Chargers need a long term option at quarterback. Justin Herbert of Oregon has prototypical size and arm strength that teams look to build around, but will need to answer questions regarding his touch, leadership and moxie.

7. Carolina Panthers – Isaiah Simmons, S/LB, Clemson:

After locking in a mid range free agent acquisition at quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater along with the release of Cam Newton, bringing in a successor for Luke Kuechly at linebacker in Clemson hybrid LB/S Isaiah Simmons seems like a match when it comes to star talent and need.

8. Arizona Cardinals - Jedrick Wills, T, Alabama:

The Cardinals addressed their biggest offseason need by trading for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Their next biggest need was at right tackle, which is a position that Jedrick Wills played at Alabama in order to protect lefty quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's blindside, even though he has the athleticism to play on the left side if needed.
 
9. Jacksonville Jaguars - Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn:

Derrick Brown of Auburn not only offers the ability to disrupt the backfield while stuffing the run, but he is a high motor, high character leader that any would like to build their defense around.

10. Cleveland Browns – Andrew Thomas, T, Georgia:

Cleveland was foolish to rely upon Greg Robinson as their starter at left tackle in 2019. While free agent signee Jack Conklin has the ability to play left tackle if needed, he's a Pro Bowl caliber player on the right side. Andrew Thomas, a pure left tackle out of Georgia, would finally give them bookend tackles to solidify what has been a terrible offensive line for years.

11. New York Jets – CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma: 

The Jets have improved their offensive line through free agency, while their already shaky wide receiver corps has merely made lateral moves in free agency. CeeDee Lamb of Oklahoma would give Sam Darnold the big play, go-to receiver that he needs. .

12. Las Vegas Raiders – Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama:

Finding a wide receiver to fill the role that they expected Antonio Brown to handle is a must. Jerry Jeudy is as NFL ready of receiver entering the NFL as it gets with his elite route running ability and dependable hands.

13. San Francisco 49'ers (via the Indianapolis Colts) - Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina:

After swapping draft picks and needs along the defensive line with the Colts, Javon Kinlaw of South Carolina meets what the 49'ers will be looking for when it comes to a penetrating run-stuffer.
 
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Mekhi Becton, T, Louisville:

With Tampa Bay gambling on an aging quarterback in Tom Brady, a massive, yet athletic tackle like Mekhi Becton of Louisville could set the tone for their new offense, especially if they pair him with a bell-cow running back in day two. 

15. Denver Broncos – Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama:

Denver has a huge need at wide receiver opposite of emerging star Courtland Sutton, and they seem to be looking for a speedy deep threat to compliment him. Henry Ruggs of Alabama is the fastest player in this year's draft, and matched his speed with big time production at Alabama, especially when it came to getting into the end-zone.

16. Atlanta Falcons - C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida:

After addressing defensive end in free agency and cutting Desmond Trufant, the Falcons need to find a #1 cornerback. C.J. Henderson of Florida has prototypical size and athleticism to become an elite cover man in the NFL. 

17. Dallas Cowboys – Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU:

After losing Byron Jones in free agency, the Cowboys will be looking for help in their secondary. The Cowboys were already a team who didn't mind gambling on players with substance abuse issues like LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton, who stands to benefit more than any player in this year's draft from the NFL's new drug suspension policy. 

18. Miami Dolphins (via Pittsburgh)  – Josh Jones, T, Houston: 

The smart play after drafting a young franchise quarterback is to pair him with someone to protect his blind side. Josh Jones of Houston could add a little strength to his frame, but has the feet and athleticism to be a solid left tackle in the NFL.

19. Las Vegas Raiders (via Chicago) - Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama:

The Raiders have a need at corner, and while Trevon Diggs may not be the highest rated player at that position in this year's draft, he seems like a safe bet to be a solid starter for years to come. 

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Los Angeles Rams) – A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson:  

The Jaguars are rebuilding and have the need for play-makers across the board, but no need is bigger than the one they have at cornerback. A.J. Terrell of Clemson is a big outside corner who would help rebuild the Jag's secondary.

21. Philadelphia Eagles - Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU:

The Eagles are looking for a speedy deep threat at wide receiver. Justin Jefferson put up huge numbers in LSU's offense last year playing out of the slot, and eased any concerns about his straight line speed by running a 4.43-forty yard dash at the Combine, showing that he could play outside as well.

22. Minnesota Vikings (via the Buffalo Bills) - Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson:

After trading Stefon Diggs to Buffalo, the Vikings need to find another deep threat at wide receiver. Tee Higgins is a big target who could compliment Adam Thielen on the outside.

23. New England Patriots - K'Lavon Chaisson, Edge, LSU:

The Patriots lost outside linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Jamie Collins in free agency. Adding an edge rusher to pair with Chase Winovich will be a priority if New England looks to compete for one more year instead of adding a quarterback and straight up rebuilding.

24. New Orleans Saints - Laviska Shenault, Jr., WR, Colorado:

The Saints need to find a receiver to compliment and take some pressure off of Michael Thomas. While they did add Emmanuel Sanders in free agency, Laviska Shenault of Colorado is a huge target with the ability to make plays from the slot, which could free up Thomas and Sanders to work more on the outside.

25. Minnesota Vikings - Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah:

Minnesota will be looking to rebuild their secondary this offseason after being relatively deep at cornerback in recent years. Jaylon Johnson would be an underrated press cover corner from a great secondary at Utah who could serve as a foundation after the team parted ways with Trae Waynes and Xavier Rhodes.

26. Miami Dolphins, via Houston - Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama:

The Dolphins need to use some of the assets they received from their fire-sale of a year ago and find a replacement for Minkah Fitzpatrick. Like Fitzpatrick, Xavier McKinney is another elite product coming out of Alabama, but is more of a traditional free safety than the Swiss army knife that they tried to force Fitzpatrick to be. 

27. Seattle Seahawks - A.J Epenesa, DE, Iowa:

Seattle is looking to improve their defense. If they can't re-sign Jadaveon Clowney, who is still very much in play for the team towards the end of free agency, A.J. Epenesa of Iowa is a base end with the size to stuff the run who also projects as a plus pass rusher in the NFL.

28. Baltimore Ravens - Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma:

The Ravens took care of their defensive line in free agency, but still have a hole in the middle of their defense. Kenneth Murray of Oklahoma may have some limitations in coverage, but is an instinctive linebacker who can diagnose plays and pursue the run from sideline to sideline..Kind of like a former Ravens middle linebacker.

29. Tennessee Titans - Ross Blacklock, DT, TCU:

After trading Jurrell Caey for a bag of jock straps, the Titans went from potential Super Bowl contenders to team figuring out whether to compete or rebuild. Instead of targeting a prior position of need, Tennessee now needs to target a top interior defensive lineman in this year's draft unless they are able to work some magic in free agency or via a trade. 

30. Green Bay Packers - Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor:

Denzel Mims of Baylor is a big target who can flat out go up and get the ball. Couple that with a 4.38 40-yard dash, and you have a receiver can serve as a legit 1-B target and draw some coverage away from Davante Adams.

31. San Francisco 49'ers - Brandon Aiyuk, WR, Arizona State:

If the 49'ers stay put at the 31st pick, wide receiver is a big need that they will need to address early. Brandon Aiyuk of Arizona State is a big receiver with speed, who would serve as a compliment opposite Deebo Samuel.

32. Kansas City Chiefs - Patrick Queen, LB, LSU:

The Chiefs face losing the entirety of their cornerbacks corps in free agency. Even if they find the cap space to retain a key piece or two, they'll still likely need to add a starter and some depth in the draft. A.J. Terrell is a big corner who projects to play outside, so he wouldn't solve all of Kansas City's coverage needs, but he'd be a necessary start.

1st Round

1. Cincinnati Bengals - Joe Burrow, QB, LSU:

The Bengals are faced with the possibility that Joe Burrow goes Elway/Eli if they select him, but as of now, Burrow is the no-brainer.

With the remaining signal callers having no better than a second round grade, Carolina would be better served sticking with Cam Newton for the short term, and bringing in a successor for Luke Kuechly in Clemson hybrid LB/S Isaiah Simmons, who could be a game changer in underneath coverage.

8. Arizona Cardinals - CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma:

While Jerry Jeudy of Alabama may be the safest pick at wide receiver, pairing Kyler Murray with Cee Dee Lamb, his top receiving threat at Oklahoma, seems to be a better fit with what the Cardinals are looking for in attempting to build a high powered offense.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars - Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn:

10. Cleveland Browns – Jedrick Wills, T, Alabama:

Despite their hype heading into the 2019 season, Cleveland's front office was foolish to rely upon a proven failure left tackle like Greg Robinson as their starter. The new regime must make protecting Baker Mayfield a priority to see whether or not he has the ability to be a long term answer at quarterback. 

11. New York Jets – Mekhi Becton, T, Louisville: 

Mekhi Becton of Louisville is a huge tackle who demonstrated the athleticism and feet in college to lock down Sam Darnold's blindside and help unleash Le'Veon Bell in the running game.

12. Las Vegas Raiders – Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama:

With the Raiders looking to be all in on the Tom Brady sweepstakes, finding a wide receiver to fill the role that they expected Antonio Brown to handle is a must. Jerry Jeudy is as NFL ready as a college receiver entering the NFL gets with his elite route running ability and dependable hands.

13. Indianapolis Colts - Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina:

The Colts need help on the interior of their defensive line, and Javon Kinlaw of South Carolina meets what they are looking for in quicker, more disruptive players at the point of attack.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Andrew Thomas, T, Georgia:

It's looking more and more like Tampa Bay will be cutting ties with Jamies Winston and moving on with an experienced veteran at quarterback. If that's the case, a solid tackle like Andrew Thomas of Georgia who can play on the right or left side of the offensive line could set the tone for their new offense.

17. Dallas Cowboys – C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida:

With Byron Jones set to leave the team in free agency, the Cowboys will be looking for help in their secondary. With a strong Combine, C.J. Henderson of Florida has cemented himself as the #2 cornerback in this year's draft behind Jeffrey Okudah.

18. Miami Dolphins (via Pittsburgh)  – Josh Jones, T, Houston:

19. Las Vegas Raiders (via Chicago) - Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma:

If the Raiders want to improve their defense, the first step is finding a substantial upgrade over former middle linebacker Vontaze Burfict. Kenneth Murray of Oklahoma is a prototype middle linebacker, who will quarterback his defense and stuff the run from sideline to sideline.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Los Angeles Rams) – Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah:  

If the Jaguars don't see Jeffrey Okudah fall to them with their first pick in the 1st Round, they will need to look at re-stocking their starting cornerback positions with their second 1st Round pick. Jaylon Johnson of Utah is an under the radar prospect who projects as a CB1 and can help fill the void left by the departures of Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye.

21. Philadelphia Eagles - Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU:

The Eagles are looking for a speedy deep threat at wide receiver. 22. Buffalo Bills - Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson:

Josh Allen is developing nicely at quarterback for the Bills, but they are yet to give him a go to wide receiver. At 6-foot-4, Tee Higgins of Clemson is a big target who projects as a true #1 at the "X".

23. New England Patriots - Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama:

If the Patriots let free safety Devin McCourty walk in free agency, they will need a replacement to help anchor their secondary. Xavier McKinney of Alabama is the best free safety in this draft class, and would give New England the versatility they love with his ability to cover in the slot and step up in the box and tackle.

24. New Orleans Saints - Laviska Shenault, Jr., WR, Colorado:

The Saints need to find a receiver to compliment and take some pressure off of Michael Thomas. Laviska Shenault of Colorado is a huge target with the ability to make plays underneath, which could free up Thomas to work more on the outside.

25. Minnesota Vikings - Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama:

Minnesota will likely be looking to rebuild their secondary this offseason depending on how they handle free agency and their salary cap. Trevon Diggs of Alabama would be a press cover corner that could serve as a foundation in the event that they part ways with Trae Waynes and/or Xavier Rhodes.

26. Detroit Lions (Projected trade with Miami, via Houston) - Ross Blacklock, DT, TCU:

The Lions need to replace the entire interior of their defensive line. Ross Blacklock of TCU can play anywhere from the nose tackle, to the 3-technique, to even the end in a 3-4 system, which is something Detroit values when it comes to their multiple fronts scheme.

27. Seattle Seahawks - Ezra Cleveland, T, Boise State:

Seattle needs to rebuild their offensive line. Ezra Cleveland may be one of the draft's biggest movers this offseason, showing off his elite athleticism at the Combine. He should eventually pencil in at left tackle.

28. Baltimore Ravens - Zack Baun, Edge, Wisconsin:

If Baltimore loses Matt Judon in free agency, an edge rusher will be their primary need heading into the draft. Zack Baun of Wisconsin best projects as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme, and would be an ideal fit with the Ravens.

29. Tennessee Titans - K'Lavon Chaisson, Edge, LSU

Depending on how free agency, the Titans may have needs at right tackle, corner, and running back. However, edge rusher would still be their primary position of need, and K'Lavon Chaisson of LSU would fill that gap as a pass rusher opposite of emerging talent Harold Landry.

With Jimmy Ward a potential free agent, the 49'ers could be in the market for a free safety in the event that they don't think Tarvarius Moore can fill that role moving forward. Grant Delpit of LSU has the range to be the key single high safety the 49'ers defense relies upon.

32. Kansas City Chiefs - Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU:

The Chiefs face losing the entirety of their cornerbacks corps in free agency. Even if they find the cap space to retain a key piece or two, they'll still likely need to add a starter and some depth in the draft. While Kristian Fulton has a drug suspension at LSU looming over him, Andy Reid has never shied away from gambling on character risks with talent.

Here is my Final 2019 NFL Mock Draft.

I try to research the opinions of those who most closely follow NFL teams like scouts, insiders, and beat writers from all of the NFL cities. I then try to make the most educated prediction as to which way each team will go in the draft based upon that information.

2019 NFL Mock Draft - Post Super Bowl

Here is my Post Super Bowl 2019 NFL Mock Draft.

This is not a mock draft where I substitute my judgment for that of the teams. I try to research the opinions of those who most closely follow NFL teams like scouts, insiders, and beat writers from all of the NFL cities. I then try to make the most educated prediction as to which way each team will go in the draft based upon that information.

I start out by targeting each team's most obvious need, and then try to hone in on the most logical pick based upon value and need as roster cuts and free agency transpires.

1st Round

1. Arizona Cardinals - Nick Bosa, Edge, Ohio State:

Nick Bosa is the most complete defensive end prospect in this year's draft. Not only is he one of the best pass rushers at his position, but he also has the size to set the edge and be an asset against the run. The only question that remains is if he is a team player after seemingly quitting on his teammates at Ohio State last season in the middle of a National Championship hunt. 

2. San Francisco 49'ers - Josh Allen, Edge, Kentucky:

With a lightning quick first step, Josh Allen is probably the most explosive pass rusher to enter the NFL since Von Miller. He'd be a no brainer for a 49'ers team that needs speed and a playmaker off the edge. 

3. New York Jets - Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama: 

An edge rusher may be the bigger need, but Quinnen Williams of Alabama would represent the better value if both Nick Bosa and Josh Allen are off the board when the Jets pick at No. 3. 

4. Las Vegas Raiders - Clelin Ferrell, Edge, Clemson: 

The Raiders need an elite defensive end to add some juice to their pass rush after trading away Khalil Mack. Clelin Ferrell of Clemson not only projects to be a plus player as a pass rusher and against the run, but he's the type of teammate and leader that you can build around. 

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Greedy Williams, CB, LSU: 

Even if the Buccaneers end up changing defensive schemes, their biggest need will still be at cornerback. Greedy Williams of LSU has the length and playmaking ability to shut down opposing "X" receivers to be the anchor of a secondary that Tampa Bay needs. 

6. New York Giants - Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State: 

After passing on a quarterback with the No. 2 pick in last year's draft, the Giants cannot afford to have Eli Manning come back as their only option at that position for yet another season. Dwayne Haskins is raw in terms of his experience as starter at Ohio State, but is probably the best pure pocket passer coming out of college this year. 

7. Philadelphia Eagles (projected trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars) – Jeffery Simmons, DT, Mississippi State:

I look for the Jaguars to land Nick Foles either via a trade or as a free agent. If the Eagles are able to pull off franchise tag and trade of Foles, they could use the Jag's first round pick to obtain an elite interior defensive lineman like Jeffery Simmons of Mississippi State. 

8. Detroit Lions - Montez Sweat, Edge, Mississippi State:

The Lions need playmakers at edge rusher and cornerback. If Greedy Williams and the elite pass rushers are all gone when the Lions pick at No. 8,  they will either need to trade back or hope that Montez Sweat's performance at the Senior Bowl showed that he can succeed as a hybrid 3-4/4-3 edge rusher in Matt Patricia's defense. 

9. Buffalo Bills - Jonah Williams, T, Alabama:

The Bills have needs at nearly every position group. With a young franchise quarterback in Josh Allen, they need to start by addressing their offensive line, and Jonah Williams of Alabama is as strong and technically sound as they come. 

10. Denver Broncos – Drew Lock, QB, Missouri:

The Denver Broncos need a quarterback. John Elway's goodwill as the GM in Denver seems to be running out, and he seems enamored with Drew Lock. You do the math. 

11. Cincinnati Bengals – Devin White, LB, LSU: 

While almost anyone would be an upgrade over Vontaze Burfict, Devin White is simply a sideline to sideline linebacker who makes big plays. By selecting White, the Bengals could turn a position of weakness into a strength.

12. Green Bay Packers – Jachai Polite, Edge, Florida:

The Packers have a major need for an edge rusher. Jachai Polite doesn't have the size to play defensive end in a 4-3 system, but he should fit in nicely as an outside linebacker in Green Bay's 3-4 heavy scheme. 

13. Miami Dolphins - Ed Oliver, DT, Houston:

If the Dolphins don't put themselves in position to draft a franchise quarterback, their need for help on the defensive line should align well with the strength of this draft class. Ed Oliver of Houston at one point looked like a possibility to be the No. 1 overall pick, but could fall due to concerns about his coachability and being a team player. 

14. Atlanta Falcons - Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson:

Even if the Falcons re-sign Grady Jarrett, they'll still have a huge hole next to him on the interior of their defensive line. Christian Wilkins of Clemson can play both the run and the pass, and has the character and leadership that teams look to build around. 

15. Washington Redskins – Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma:

With Alex Smith's gruesome leg injury potentially triggering a potentially catastrophic salary cap hit if he were to be released, Washington is likely out of the market for any of the high profile veteran signal callers. If Kyler Murray of Oklahoma commits to football over baseball and shows scouts that he's closer to 5'10 than 5'8, his arm and athleticism could put him in the mix as a player for the Redskins to rebuild around. 

16. Carolina Panthers - Rashan Gary, DT/DE, Michigan:

While Rashan Gary was once the top high recruit in America, he never played at a particularly high level at Michigan. However, he still possesses the size and athleticism that would make him an intriguing replacement for Julius Peppers if the Panthers' coaching staff believes they can properly coach him up. 

17. Cleveland Browns – Dre'Mont Jones, DT, Ohio State:

Dre'Mont Jones of Ohio State was one of the most disruptive interior rushers in college football last season, and would be an ideal compliment playing next to Larry Ogunjobi. 

18. Minnesota Vikings – Dalton Risner, T/G, Kansas State: 

Minnesota's front office has said that they want to add an element of "attitude" to their team this offseason. Not only do they have needs along their offensive line, but Dalton Risner of Kansas State plays with the type of mean streak that the Vikings seem to be looking for. 

19. Tennessee Titans – Brian Burns, Edge, Florida State: 

With Brian Orakpo retiring, the Titans need another pass rusher to play the edge opposite Harold Landry. Brian Burns is a bit undersized, but should appeal to teams running a 3-4 system. 

20. Pittsburgh Steelers – Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia:  

Pittsburgh will likely be choosing between the best player available who can fill one of their immediate needs at cornerback or inside linebacker. If a top cover corner like Deandre Baker of Georgia is still on the board when the Steelers pick, he'd represent a better value than any of the  available interior linebackers, which can typically be found later in the draft. 

21. Seattle Seahawks - Zach Allen, DE, Boston College:

The Seahawks are looking for help at defensive end. Zach Allen of Boston College could set the edge against the run while providing some pass rush with his non-stop motor, he should be able to slide inside on passing downs. 

22. Baltimore Ravens - A.J. Brown, WR, Mississippi:

The Ravens need to build around Lamar Jackson, and aside from some talented young tight ends, he has no legitimate go to receivers or threats to stretch the field. A.J. Brown of Mississippi has the size and speed to do both. 

23. Houston Texans - Greg Little, T, Mississippi:

Left tackle has been an issue for the Texans since they traded Duane Brown to Seattle. Greg Little of Mississippi should immediately upgrade their line when it comes to both pass protection and run blocking. 

24. Las Vegas Raiders (from Chicago) - Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma:

The Raiders need to add at least one starting receiver this off season. While Marquise Brown of Oklahoma may not be a true No. 1 or an "X", many teams are projecting him to be an explosive playmaker similar to Tyrique Hill in Kansas City. 

25. Philadelphia Eagles - Jaylon Ferguson, DE, La. Tech: 

If the Eagles can swing a trade for Nick Foles and use the pick they acquire for an interior defensive lineman, defensive end and corner will be their next highest priorities. Jaylon Ferguson of Louisiana Tech is a bit raw, but as the all time NCAA sack leader, he certainly has playmaker potential coming off the edge. 

26. Indianapolis Colts - N'Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State:

The Colts need to give Andrew Luck another weapon to throw to. N'Keal Harry of Arizona State is a big pass catcher who could compliment T.Y. Hilton with his ability to run inside routes and out muscle smaller defensive backs on 50/50 balls. 

27. Las Vegas Raiders (from Dallas) - Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama:

Even with two earlier picks in the first round, the Raiders will still have significant needs on both sides of the ball when they pick at No. 27. Deionte Thompson of Alabama would help solidify a secondary in need of speed and playmakers in what is a relatively weak draft class at his position. 

28. Los Angeles Chargers - Dexter Lawrence, DT, Clemson:

While the Chargers have a strong defensive front, they will need to find a replacement for defensive tackle Brandon Mebane sooner than later. Dexter Lawrence is a massive run stopper in the middle, but also is agile enough to disrupt the backfield on occasion. 

29. Kansas City Chiefs - Byron Murphy, CB, Washington:

The Chiefs have needs across the board on defense. An elite cover corner like Byron Murphy of Washington would be a key piece in helping Kansas City's defense slow down opposing offenses, which would take some pressure off of quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

30. Green Bay Packers (from New Orleans) - Jawaan Taylor, T, Florida:

It's time for Green Bay to move on from Brian Bulaga at right tackle, both for salary cap and injury reasons. Jawaan Taylor of Florida not only has the size and power to move people as a run blocker, but also the length and agility to be effective in pass protection. 

31. Los Angeles Rams- Andre Dillard, T, Washington State:

The Rams may be looking for a new left tackle if Andrew Whitworth retires. Andre Dillard of Washington State may need some work as a run blocker, but he's the best pure pass protector at tackle in this draft class. 

32. New England Patriots - Daniel Jones, QB, Duke:

No matter how many sketchy trainers Tom Brady meets up with, Father Time will eventually win. Daniel Jones of Duke has the size to succeed in the NFL, but more importantly, he has the cerebral game that will play well going forward if he can sit and learn to pro game under Brady for a season or two.
